Part of the Greater Kingston metropolitan area, St Lawrence North is a neighbourhood within Kingston, Ontario.

Transportation

St Lawrence North is especially car friendly. It is especially convenient to park, and it is a rather short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, from any location in this area. However, the public transit service in this neighbourhood is not very frequent. This area is not very convenient for walking as almost no common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. St Lawrence North is also not very conducive to bicycling because there are a good number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and this neighbourhood has a quite bad cycling infrastructure.

Services

There are only a few primary schools in St Lawrence North and therefore they can be an extended walk away. In addition, this part of the city does not have any high schools. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and therefore they can be a very long walk away. With regards to food, buying one's groceries very often demands the use of a vehicle in St Lawrence North.
