The former municipality of Glanbrook is part of the city of Hamilton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good medium of transportation in Glanbrook. It is very convenient to park. However, getting around by public transit is very difficult in Glanbrook. Nonetheless, the former municipality is linked by a few bus lines. Commuting by bicycle is occasionally difficult in this part of Hamilton since there are few bike lanes. Nevertheless, there are a limited number of hills for cyclists to brave. This part of the city is also not very well-suited for those who like to get around on foot as very few daily needs can be met without a car.

Services

Parents may consider it difficult for their kids to reach high schools and primary schools by foot. Likewise, daycares are not very abundant and accordingly not always within walking distance. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. With regards to eating, house buyers in this area almost always need a car to purchase their groceries.
