Bayview is a neighbourhood within Hamilton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Bayview is very car friendly. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot, and nearby highways, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, are very easy to access from anywhere in this part of the city. This neighbourhood is not very suitable for pedestrians since very few daily needs can be carried out without the use of a car. Bicycling is also challenging in Bayview because the bicycling network is fairly poor, and the topography is not especially flat.

Services

Buying one's groceries usually requires the use of a car in Bayview. Nonetheless, it is generally a rather short stroll to the closest pharmacy, which can supply some basic food items. There are also a few opportunities for those who care about nearby restaurants. With respect to education, Bayview does not have any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long trip away.

Character
