Bayview Village is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

No matter the medium of transportation, it is easy to get around in Bayview Village. House buyers can count on public transit to get around in this part of the city. More specifically, rapid transit stations, including Bayview Station, Bessarion Station and Leslie Station with access to the Sheppard Line, are not very far away from most houses in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is typically very close. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also suitable for those who travel by foot; many day-to-day errands can be run on foot, and numerous businesses are nearby. This area is not especially amenable to cycling as the bicycling network is not particularly comprehensive, and cyclists encounter a significant amount of elevation changes.

Services

House buyers in this area will welcome that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away. Likewise, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and there are also a few cafes in Bayview Village. Residents benefit from a good number of clothing stores within walking distance. There are about 20 parks close by for residents to unwind in, such as Newtonbrook Park and Bayview Village Park, making them very easy to get to.

In Bayview Village, many dwellings are large apartment buildings, while single detached homes and townhouses make up most of the remaining housing stock. This neighbourhood experienced its most significant construction boom after the year 2000, so most of the available properties are from this time period. This area offers mainly two bedroom and one bedroom homes. Around 60% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and 40% are renters.
