Transportation

This area offers homeowners several alternative modes of transportation. The public transit service in this part of the city is fairly good as a consequence of Don Mills Station on the Sheppard Line, and a few nearby bus lines. Walking is also quite practical for residents in this part of Toronto; many common errands can be run on foot, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Henry Farm is not very bicycling-friendly since the bicycling network is quite poor, and bike riders are faced with a significant amount of elevation changes.

Services

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away in this area. Moreover, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. Concerning education, families will appreciate the proximity to daycares and schools, which are within walking distance from the majority of homes for sale in Henry Farm.

Character

Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Henry Farm. To be more specific, public green spaces, such as East Don Parkland and Havenbrook Park, are very well-situated and there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out, which makes it easy to reach them. Finally, the majority of areas of this neighbourhood are very serene and quiet, but some other parts can be noisy, especially around Highway 404 or Highway 401.

The substantial percentage of large apartment buildings in the housing stock of this area is an important part of its character.
