Most homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also convenient for those who travel by foot; most daily needs are convenient to meet by walking, and a variety of businesses are quite nearby. Cycling is difficult in York Ridge because there are few bike lanes, and riding is rendered strenuous by the often hilly topography. Nonetheless, some enjoyable areas for cycling exist.
