West Humber

The neighbourhood of West Humber is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

West Humber is home to a fairly good public transit system. For example, there is the Etobicoke North with access to the GT | Kitchener. Residents benefit from around 20 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Walking is not very practical for home buyers in West Humber because carrying out daily needs is at times challenging. It is difficult to travel by bike in this neighbourhood because the area is not particularly flat, and there are very few bike lanes. Thankfully, bicycling is better in some sectors than others. However, the best method to navigate West Humber is very often a car. Parking is easy, and it is a very short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 409, from any home in this part of Toronto.

Services

Accessing the closest supermarket on foot is possible for some, but not all, property owners in West Humber. A small variety of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well. With regards to education, families may find it challenging to get to high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. Likewise, it can be very hard to access daycares on foot.

Character

West Humber offers an extensive selection of green spaces to enjoy. To be more precise, there are around 30 public green spaces close by for residents to visit, such as North Mimico Valley Park and Disco Yard, which makes them very easy to get to. However, few tree-lined streets are prominent. This area is relatively serene, thanks to the presence of very few people out and about on the streets.
