The neighbourhood of Rosedale can be found in the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area affords homeowners the choice between several methods of transportation. House buyers who appreciate living in a walkable area will enjoy the especially pedestrian-friendly nature of this neighbourhood; running day-to-day errands is very convenient without needing a car, and plenty of businesses are very close by. Cycling is reasonably adopted in Rosedale as bike-share stations are rarely more than a few blocks away, and the bicycling network is good. Thanks to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth) and Line 1 (Yonge-University), and a few nearby bus lines, the excellent public transit infrastructure makes transit a viable option for many. Getting around by car is also convenient in Rosedale. It is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway from anywhere in Rosedale.

Services

There are crowds of people around most of the time, there are numerous nearby entertainment venues, and with the nightlife venues in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located very close by. There is a fair amount of greenery in this area as many tree-lined streets are around. There are approximately 40 green spaces close by for residents to enjoy, including Lower Don Parklands and Park Drive Reservation Lands, and they are very well-situated, which results in them being very easy to reach from a lot of locations within Rosedale.

Housing

Large apartment buildings are the predominant housing type, representing about half of buildings in Rosedale, and the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings and single detached homes. Around 45% of properties in this neighbourhood were built pre-1960, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 2000s.
