Transportation

Playter Estates presents house buyers with several alternative modes of transportation. The excellent public transit access allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. Rapid transit stations, including Broadview Station - Eastbound Platform and Broadview Station - Westbound Platform on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), are not very far-removed from the greater part of homes in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. Active house buyers will also enjoy the very walk-friendly character of Playter Estates; running daily errands is especially convenient, and plenty of businesses are reasonably nearby. Numerous residents in the area use their bike since bike-share stations are seldomly more than a few blocks away, and the bicycling network is quite extensive.

Services

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a rather short walk away in Playter Estates. Additionally, there are a fair number of choices for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes. Character

Playter Estates has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Most areas in Playter Estates are reasonably quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic, although that is not the case near Don Valley Parkway or the railway line. The greenery in this part of Toronto is prominent as many tree-lined streets are present. The majority of locations within the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to green spaces, like Lower Don Parklands, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to explore. Lastly, finding things to do is easy in this part of Toronto. Despite the fact that there is a narrow selection of entertainment venues, the streets are very often busy with people, and with the nightlife venues in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located very close by.
