Parkway Belt is a neighbourhood in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, which is located within the province of Ontario, Canada.

Transportation

Getting around by public transit is easy in Parkway Belt. For example, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and it is convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most residences. Although a few enjoyable pockets for cycling can be found, the bike is a quite bad means of transportation in Parkway Belt because riding is made strenuous by the typically hilly topography, and the bicycling infrastructure is fairly poor. Travelling on foot is not very practical for house buyers in this neighbourhood because running common errands is sometimes challenging on foot. However, travelling by car is especially convenient in Parkway Belt. Accessing a parking spot is easy, and the vast majority of the street network is well suited for cars.

Services

A fraction of property owners in this part of the city may be able to buy groceries on foot, while others will need another means of transportation. With regards to education, there are only a few primary schools in this area and accordingly they can be a rather long walk away. In addition, Parkway Belt does not contain any high schools. Additionally, daycares are not numerous and thus not always within walking distance.

This part of the city also has a good variety of unit sizes - homes range from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
