Transportation

Old Town does not require use of a car as various other means of transportation are accessible. It is especially convenient to reach both a general and a specialty grocery store on foot from most houses for sale in this part of Toronto. Character

Old Town is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the ambience of this area. Finding things to do in this part of the city is especially easy. There is a broad selection of entertainment venues, the streets are almost always busy with people, and with the nightlife venues in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located very close by. Most areas in Old Town are quiet, as the streets are quite peaceful. Greenery is not very prominent in this part of the city; however, green spaces are very easy to get to since there are a few of them close by for residents to discover.

Housing

Old Town experienced its most significant construction boom following the year 2000, so most of the available properties are from this time period. In this area, the vast majority of dwellings are large apartment buildings, but small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock.
