Ninth Line

The neighbourhood of Ninth Line is part of the city of Mississauga, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extremely convenient part of Mississauga for driving. Nearby highways, such as Highway 403, are very easy to reach from any location in Ninth Line, and it is easy to park. However, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. This part of Mississauga is not very bike-friendly since the bicycling infrastructure is sometimes poor. Thankfully, there are a limited number of slopes, and some pleasant pockets for bicycling exist. It is also difficult for pedestrians to navigate Ninth Line because few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

In Ninth Line, parents and their children will usually be able to get to primary schools on foot. On the other hand, it can be challenging to reach high schools as a pedestrian. In terms of eating, accessing the nearest supermarket on foot is feasible for some, but not all, home buyers in Ninth Line.

Character

One of the highlights of Ninth Line is its great variety of green spaces. There are around 10 public green spaces nearby for residents to check out, including Not Yet Named *(West of Erin Centre Blvd Along Ninth Line) and North of Derry Rd), and they are very well-situated, making it very easy to reach them. Lastly, this area is relatively serene, as there are very few people out and about on the streets.

Housing

Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in Ninth Line. Most of the housing growth in this part of the city has occurred following the year 2000. This area is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Around 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and the rest are renters.
