Ninth Line

The neighbourhood of Ninth Line can be found in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Ninth Line. The majority of the street infrastructure is made for cars, and it is a very short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, from any home in Ninth Line. In contrast, this part of Mississauga is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually close by. Travelling on foot is not very practical for property owners in this area as meeting day-to-day needs is inconvenient by walking. Even though some bike-friendly sectors exist, Ninth Line is also not very appropriate for bicycling as there are a good number of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.

Services

Parents and their schoolchildren will welcome the proximity to primary schools, which are within walking distance from most properties for sale in Ninth Line. However, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools. As far as food is concerned, it is easy to access the closest supermarket by walking from most houses for sale in Ninth Line.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Ninth Line. It is easy to get to parks since there are about 30 of them nearby for residents to relax in. This part of the city is a wonderful neighbourhood for those who aren't bothered by some noise, as traffic can occasionally be loud during busy hours.

Housing

Single detached homes and row houses are the main housing type in Ninth Line. This neighbourhood experienced its largest construction boom after the year 2000, so most of the available housing is from this time period. Notably, this part of the city is good for those looking for four or more bedroom homes. Roughly 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and 10% are renters.
