Character

Nassagaweya is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm ambience. Nassagaweya is quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to Highway 401 or one of the railway lines. Green spaces are sparse, which results in them being occasionally difficult to reach from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood. Despite that, there are a few parks close by for residents to discover.

Housing

Roughly 90% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 10% are rented. In this area, the overwhelming majority of buildings are single detached homes, and the rest of the properties are mainly duplexes. About one third of properties in this part of the town were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
