The neighbourhood of Markham Village is part of the city of Markham, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

It is easy to move around by bicycle in Markham Village. House buyers who value living in a compact area will also enjoy the rather pedestrian-friendly nature of this neighbourhood; running daily errands is easy without a car. The public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Nevertheless, there is Hwy 7 / Wootten and Hwy 7 / Main Markham with access to the Viva Purple. Property owners are served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. On the other hand, moving around by car is very convenient in Markham Village. It is easy to come across a parking spot, and it is a rather short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in Markham Village.

Services

Schools and daycares are very easy to reach without the need for a car from anywhere in this area.
