The neighbourhood of Markham Village is part of the city of Markham, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area will draw people who value being able to walk everywhere as it is moderately geared towards getting around on foot; most daily needs are convenient to meet without the use of a car. Bicycling is also convenient in Markham Village. This area is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, homeowners profit from Hwy 7 / Main Markham and Hwy 7 / Wootten on the Viva Purple. The neighbourhood is served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly around the corner. On the other hand, cars are a very good transportation option in Markham Village.
