The public transit service in Markham Village is not very frequent. Nonetheless, residents benefit from Hwy 7 / Wootten and Hwy 7 / Main Markham with access to the Viva Purple. There are approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. However, driving is very often the preferred method to get around in Markham Village. The majority of houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, and it is easy to come across a place to park.
