Transportation

Dixie provides property owners with several alternative methods of transportation. This neighbourhood features a reasonably good public transit infrastructure. Residents are served by the Dixie with access to the Milton. The neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically just around the corner. This neighbourhood is also reasonably suitable for walking; many daily needs are convenient to meet on foot, and a variety of businesses are close by. Dixie is quite cycling-friendly.

Services

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short walk away in Dixie. Additionally, there are a fair number of opportunities for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes. In terms of education, it is a rather short walk to get to schools and daycares from anywhere in Dixie. Families are served by public and private elementary schools.

Character

Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Dixie. To be more precise, there are about 10 public green spaces nearby for residents to relax in, including Not Yet Named *(SE of Loreland Dr) and Trca Lands, and they are very well-distributed, which makes it easy to get to them. At the same time, many streets have sub-par tree coverage. This neighbourhood is relatively quiet, as there are few pedestrians; however there can be more noise for those who are near the railway line.
