College Park

Situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, College Park is a neighbourhood within Oakville, Ontario.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in this neighbourhood. The majority of real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and parking is quite easy. However, this part of the town is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Travelling by foot in this neighbourhood is not very common, despite the fact that many daily errands can be run on foot. On the other hand, moving around by bicycle is convenient in this neighbourhood as there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

Some, but not all, house buyers in this area will reside within walking distance of the closest supermarket. A small variety of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well. When it comes to education, in College Park, parents and their kids will usually be able to get to daycares and schools by walking.

Character

College Park offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time in green spaces. The noise levels in this part of Oakville are low, as the streets are usually quite peaceful. Finally, there are around 20 public green spaces close by for residents to relax in, such as Morrison-Wedgewood Channel West - 2 and Wildwoods Park, and they are very well-located, making them very easy to get to.
