Birch Cliff enables house buyers to move around by several alternative means of transportation. The fairly good public transit service allows people to get to many destinations without needing a vehicle. More precisely, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Getting around by walking is also reasonably practical for property owners in Birch Cliff; running common errands is easy without the use of a car. This area is rather conducive to biking.

Services

The nearest grocery store in Birch Cliff is typically only a rather short stroll away. Additionally, this part of the city is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe. Character

Birch Cliff is a good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. This part of Toronto is reasonably quiet, as the streets are generally tranquil - although that is not the case around the railway line. Lastly, greenery is reasonably prominent in this area; there are about 20 public green spaces close by for residents to explore, such as Birchmount Park and Lakefront Open Lands, and they are very well-distributed, which makes them very easy to reach from most locations within Birch Cliff. Furthermore, residents will find that most streets have good tree coverage.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing most buildings in Birch Cliff, and the remaining homes are mainly large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings.
