Transportation

Agincourt provides property owners with the choice between different methods of transportation. Most homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are reasonably well-suited for walking; many daily needs are easy to carry out on foot, and plenty of businesses are close by. However, this neighbourhood is not particularly cycling-friendly because there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor. Property owners can depend on public transit to move around in this part of Toronto as a consequence of Agincourt on the Stouffville, and approximately 20 nearby bus lines. Cars are also a reasonably good mode of transportation in Agincourt. The majority of homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, and it is convenient to park.

Most areas in this neighbourhood are reasonably quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - however noise can be bothersome near one of the railway lines or Highway 401.

Housing

In Agincourt, about one third of dwellings are single detached homes, and the remaining dwellings are mainly large apartment buildings. About 45% of properties in this part of the city were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 2000s.
