Agincourt affords property owners several alternative means of transportation. The public transit network in this area is convenient. More specifically, commuters benefit from the Agincourt on the Stouffville Line. The neighbourhood is connected by around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. This part of the city is also a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for pedestrians; most daily needs are convenient to meet without having to use a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are reasonably close by. The bike is a sometimes poor method of transportation in Agincourt as the cycling network is rather limited, and the area is not especially flat.

Character

Agincourt offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. This area is quiet, as the streets are tranquil - although that is not the case close to one of the railway lines or Highway 401. Finally, this part of the city also features a fair amount of greenery as many tree-lined streets are prominent. It is very easy to access public green spaces from a large number of locations in the neighbourhood, since there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to explore and getting to the closest park from the majority of properties for sale is very easy.

Housing

Roughly 80% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and the remainder are renters. In this part of the city, around one third of dwellings are single detached homes, while large apartment buildings and townhouses are also present in the housing stock. About half of properties in this area were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 2000s. This neighbourhood offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
