The neighbourhood of Rosslyn is part of the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred transportation option in this area is very often a car. It is very easy to find a parking spot, and the majority of homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. On the other hand, the public transit system in this part of Thunder Bay is not very practical. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. The bicycle is a rather limited means of transportation in Rosslyn since the cycling network is not very well-developed. Nonetheless, riding a bicycle is facilitated by the generally flat terrain. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for walking because very few day-to-day errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle.

Services

It is very rarely an option for home buyers in this part of the city to travel to the nearest supermarket on foot. There are a few restaurants in Rosslyn. Regarding education, there are only a few primary schools in Rosslyn and thus they can be an extended walk away. Furthermore, this part of Thunder Bay does not contain any high schools.
