The neighbourhood of Parkdale is part of the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in Parkdale. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot, and the majority of real estate listings are a short drive from the closest highway. However, Parkdale is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby. This neighbourhood is not particularly appropriate for cycling since Parkdale is home to a rather poor bicycling infrastructure, and there are a fair number of hills. This area is also not very suitable for walking as few daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle.
