Transportation

Sudbury is very car friendly. It is very convenient to park. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is challenging in Sudbury. Nevertheless, residents benefit from approximately 20 bus lines, and most properties are near a bus stop. Travelling on foot is not very feasible for home buyers in this part of Greater Sudbury as meeting daily needs is impractical by walking.

Services

Reaching one of approximately 30 grocery stores by walking is practical for some, but not all, home buyers in Sudbury. There are also over 200 restaurants and coffee shops in Sudbury. Concerning education, there are only a few high schools and primary schools in this part of the city and accordingly they can be an extended walk away. Furthermore, parents and their kids may consider it difficult to get to daycares on foot.

Character

Sudbury is a fairly good community to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. The noise levels in this area are low, as the streets tend to be peaceful - although there are still several noisier sections, especially around one of the railway lines. Lastly, it is easy to get to parks from many locations in the community, since there are over 150 of them close by for residents to unwind in, such as Greenway and Kelly Lake Trails.

This community has a good choice of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. The population residing in this community is evenly split between owners and renters.
