McCrea Heights is an extremely good part of Greater Sudbury for getting around by car. Parking is quite easy. On the other hand, public transit users may have limited options in McCrea Heights due to the infrequent service. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the community, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. Many of the homes for sale in this part of Greater Sudbury are located in areas that are not very conducive to those who travel by foot since running daily errands is very difficult. McCrea Heights is also not very cycling-friendly because there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists, and the bicycling network is quite poor.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this area. Moreover, parents may consider it very hard for their children to get to daycares on foot. As far as eating is concerned, a car is almost always required in McCrea Heights to access the closest supermarket.
