The community of Hanmer can be found in the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Sudbury metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the city is very car friendly. It is very easy to access a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in this area is quite bad. Thankfully, residents have access to a few bus lines. It is very challenging for pedestrians to get around in this part of the city since most daily needs are impractical to meet by walking.

Services

There are only a few high schools and primary schools in Hanmer and accordingly they can be a long walk away. Moreover, daycares are not particularly abundant and thus not always within walking distance. As far as eating is concerned, it is very rarely an option for property owners in Hanmer to do groceries on foot.

Character

Hanmer is very good for those who prefer quiet surroundings, as the streets are generally very calm.
