The community of Coniston is part of the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

Transportation

Coniston is an extremely convenient part of Greater Sudbury for travelling by car. Parking is easy, and the majority of homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway. On the other hand, the public transit system in Coniston is not very practical. Nonetheless, the community is served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically very close. Coniston is not very suitable for walking as very few common errands can be run on foot. This area is also not very amenable to biking because riding is rendered arduous by the often sloping area, and the bicycling network is rather limited.

Services

It is a short walk to reach primary schools and daycares from any location in this area. However, there are no high schools in Coniston. When it comes to eating, it is very often an option for house buyers in Coniston to do groceries by walking.
