Part of the Greater Peterborough metropolitan area, Nassau is a neighbourhood within Peterborough, Ontario.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in this neighbourhood. Coming across a parking spot is generally easy. In contrast, Nassau is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Nassau is not very conducive to people who get around by foot since very few daily needs can be met without a car. However, this part of the city is moderately bicycling-friendly as there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Peterborough. Likewise, it can be very hard to get to daycares on foot. In terms of eating, house buyers in Nassau almost always have to turn to a car to do grocery shopping. That being said, a cafe is commonly just around the corner.
