Part of the Greater Peterborough metropolitan area, Nassau is a neighbourhood within Peterborough, Ontario.

Transportation

Driving is very often the best method to navigate Nassau. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park. In contrast, the public transit in Nassau is quite poor. Nonetheless, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by. Cycling is easy in Nassau because there are a good number of bike lanes. A majority of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not very convenient for people who prefer to get around on foot as running common errands is difficult without needing to use a vehicle.

Services

Nassau does not have any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, parents and their children may consider it very difficult to access daycares as pedestrians. As far as food is concerned, property owners in Nassau almost always need a car to purchase groceries. On the other hand, a coffee shop is on average a reasonably short distance away.

Character

The character of Nassau is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere.
