Transportation

The best means of transportation in Beavermead is very often driving. Many homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 7 & 115, and coming across a place to park is easy. However, Beavermead is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Beavermead, despite the fact that running daily errands is convenient on foot. In contrast, it is easy to travel by bike in Beavermead.

Services

Parents and their children will find that no matter where their house is located in this part of Peterborough, primary schools are close by. On the other hand, Beavermead does not have any high schools. In terms of food, a portion of house buyers in this area may be able to access the nearest grocery store on foot, while others will have to turn to a vehicle. A small number of restaurants and cafes are available as well.

Character

Beavermead offers a calm ambience and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. In Beavermead, the majority of dwellings are single detached homes, and the rest of the properties are mainly small apartment buildings.
