The neighbourhood of Tyandaga is part of the city of Burlington, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in Tyandaga. Nearby highways, such as Highway 407, are easy to access from any location in this part of Burlington, and it is straightforward to park. However, the public transit network in this area is fairly poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. This part of Burlington is not particularly convenient for walking since few day-to-day errands can be run on foot. It is also at times difficult to move around by bike in Tyandaga since the cycling network is not very extensive, and bicycle riders are faced with quite a few hills.

Services

It is convenient to get to the nearest grocery store on foot from any location in this part of Burlington. A limited variety of restaurants is available in this neighbourhood as well. With respect to education, families will welcome that no matter where their house is located in this part of the city, primary schools and daycares are nearby. However, there are no high schools in Tyandaga.
