Dundas is also reasonably conducive to those who travel by foot; many daily needs are easy to carry out without the use of a vehicle. Commuting by public transit is difficult in Dundas. Nonetheless, the former municipality is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. On the other hand, the preferred approach to navigate Dundas is often driving. Some, but not all, property owners in this part of the city will live within walking distance of the nearest grocery store. A limited selection of restaurants and cafes is available as well.
