Transportation

The car is usually the preferred mode of transportation in this neighbourhood. It is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, Royal Oak is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually a short distance away. It is difficult for pedestrians to get around in this neighbourhood since very few daily errands can be run without a car. In contrast, the bike is a fairly good method of transportation in Royal Oak.
