North Aldershot

The neighbourhood of North Aldershot is part of the city of Burlington, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent means of transportation in North Aldershot. It is very easy to park, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 6, from anywhere in this part of the city. On the other hand, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and most properties are close to a bus stop. Biking is difficult in North Aldershot because riding a bike is rendered strenuous by the often steep area, and the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. Travelling on foot is also not very feasible for residents in this part of the city because very few daily needs can be carried out without the use of a car.

Services

High schools and primary schools are not very abundant in North Aldershot, and thus may be a long walk away. In addition, it can be challenging to access daycares as a pedestrian.
