Situated within the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Countryside Villages is a neighbourhood in Brampton, Ontario.

Transportation

Countryside Villages is an extremely good part of Brampton for driving. It is convenient to come across a place to park, and many properties for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 410. On the other hand, Countryside Villages is not especially transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. The bike is a fairly good means of transportation in this part of the city. Countryside Villages is not very suitable for walking because few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

Some property owners in this neighbourhood may have the option to shop for groceries by walking, while others will need another means of transportation. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well. In terms of education, parents and their children will appreciate that no matter where their house is situated in Countryside Villages, both primary and secondary schools are nearby. However, it can be very hard to reach daycares as a pedestrian.

Character

The character of Countryside Villages is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. There are a few public green spaces close by for residents to discover, including Valleylands 766 and Sesquicentennial Park, and they are very well-situated, making them easy to reach. This part of Brampton is especially quiet overall, as the streets are generally very peaceful closer to Highway 410.

Housing

In Countryside Villages, the overwhelming majority of dwellings are single detached homes, while the remainder are mainly townhouses. Almost all of properties in this neighbourhood were constructed following the year 2000, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed 1990. This area also has quite a good variety of housing size options; there is a higher proportion of four or more bedroom homes in this part of the city. Homeowners occupy nearly 165% of the properties in Countryside Villages while renters occupy the remainder.
