Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Countryside Villages is a neighbourhood within Brampton, Ontario.

Transportation

Commuting by car is very easy in this neighbourhood. Parking is quite easy, and it is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 410, from any home in Countryside Villages. However, this part of Brampton is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, residents are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically close by. Walking is not very convenient for property owners in this part of Brampton because meeting day-to-day needs is impractical. Despite the fact that certain pleasant sectors for cycling can be found, travelling by bicycle is also sometimes difficult in Countryside Villages as there are a fair number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

Countryside Villages does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, daycares are not numerous and consequently not always within walking distance. With respect to food, in vast majority cases, a car is needed to buy groceries. Nevertheless, pharmacies are generally easy to access on foot and sell some staple foods. There are also about 10 restaurants and cafes in Countryside Villages.

Home buyers who prefer a relaxed atmosphere will enjoy Countryside Villages. This part of Brampton is good for those who need quiet surroundings, as the streets tend to be quite calm - however noise can be an issue close to Highway 410. Finally, parks, like Valleylands 766 and Sesquicentennial Park, are very well-distributed and there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit, which results in them being easy to get to from the majority of locations in Countryside Villages.

Housing

The predominant housing types in Countryside Villages are single detached homes and townhouses. This neighbourhood offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy nearly 90% of the properties in the neighbourhood and 10% are rented. Most of the housing growth in this part of the city has taken place after the year 2000.
