Transportation

The best way to navigate Churchville is very often a car. It is a short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 407, from anywhere in Churchville, and finding a parking spot is generally easy. In contrast, the public transit service in this part of the city is not especially frequent. Thankfully, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. Churchville is not especially cycling-friendly because there are a good number of elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes. It is also at times difficult for people travelling on foot to get around in this part of Brampton as few day-to-day needs can be met without the use of a car.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are easy to access on foot from most houses for sale in Churchville. However, high schools are not abundant and thus tend to require a very long walk to get to. In terms of eating, accessing the nearest grocery store on foot is practical for some, but not all, home buyers in Churchville. There are also about 10 restaurants and coffee shops in this neighbourhood.

Character

The character of Churchville is exemplified by its relaxed environment. This neighbourhood is great for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, numerous locations in the neighbourhood have fairly good access to public green spaces, such as Conservation Lands 999 and Jimmie McKerron Valley, since there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to enjoy.

Housing

Most of the housing growth in Churchville has taken place after the year 2000. In this area, roughly two thirds of dwellings are single detached homes, while townhouses make up most of the remaining housing stock. Homeowners occupy around 85% of the properties in Churchville and 15% are occupied by renters. Notably, this neighbourhood is good for those looking for four or more bedroom homes.
