The community of Timberlea is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Timberlea. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and it is very convenient to come across a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit network in this part of the municipality is not very practical. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the community, and the nearest bus stop is usually close by. Travelling on foot is not very convenient for residents in this part of Halifax since meeting daily needs is very difficult.

Services

It is very rarely practical for property owners in Timberlea to reach the closest grocery store on foot. In terms of education, there are only a few primary schools in this area and therefore they can be a long walk away. Additionally, Timberlea does not contain any high schools.
