The Ravines
The Ravines is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.
Transportation
The best method to navigate this area is very often driving. It is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway from any location in The Ravines, and it is straightforward to park. However, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Commuting by bicycle is easy in The Ravines. This neighbourhood is not especially conducive to pedestrians since carrying out daily needs is challenging without a vehicle.
Services
It is rarely an option for home buyers in The Ravines to buy groceries by walking. Furthermore, it is easy to reach the closest coffee shop without a vehicle, and residents of this part of the municipality benefit from a few restaurants as well. Regarding education, families will welcome that no matter where their house is situated in The Ravines, daycares and high schools are nearby.
