The community of Porters Lake can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the preferred method to navigate Porters Lake. The majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and it is especially convenient to access a place to park. In contrast, the public transit network in this community is quite poor. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the community, and most properties are close to a bus stop. Porters Lake is not very suitable for those who travel by foot as carrying out daily needs is very difficult.

Services
