The neighbourhood of Oceanview is situated within the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The car is usually the best method to move around in Oceanview. The majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and it is straightforward to access a place to park. In contrast, Oceanview is not very transit friendly. Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not particularly well-suited for those who travel by foot as few daily errands can be run on foot. Biking is also sometimes difficult in Oceanview as bicycle riders encounter quite a few elevation changes, and the cycling network is fairly poor.

Services

It is a reasonably short walk to access daycares and primary schools from anywhere in Oceanview. In contrast, this part of the municipality does not have any high schools.
