Transportation

North Preston is especially car friendly. It is very easy to find a parking spot. In contrast, North Preston is not an especially pleasant part of Halifax for travelling by public transit. Nevertheless, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close by. Biking is very hard in this part of the municipality as there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and there are very few bike lanes. North Preston is also not very convenient for those who like to get around on foot as running daily errands is nearly impossible without needing a car.
