Transportation

Lake Loon is a very good part of Halifax for travelling by car. It is very convenient to park. However, the public transit network in Lake Loon is not very practical. Nonetheless, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. Travelling by bicycle is at times challenging in this area as there are a fair number of slopes, and there are few bike lanes. Lake Loon is also not very convenient for walking because carrying out daily needs is inconvenient on foot.

Services

Parents and their kids will value that wherever their property is situated in Lake Loon, primary schools and daycares are nearby. In contrast, this part of the municipality does not contain any high schools. In terms of eating, a portion of home buyers in Lake Loon may be able to reach the closest supermarket on foot, while others will have to rely on a vehicle.
