The neighbourhood of Central Bedford is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred approach to get around in this area is usually a car. Nearby highways are easy to access from any location in this neighbourhood, and it is especially convenient to park. However, the public transit system in Central Bedford is fairly poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. This area is not particularly cycling-friendly since there is a significant amount of elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes. Most homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in places that are also not particularly well-suited for people who travel on foot because few daily errands can be run without a vehicle.
