Westphal is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the favoured transportation option in Westphal. It is very convenient to find a parking spot. However, residents using public transit may have limited choices in this part of the municipality as a result of the infrequent service. Thankfully, the community is linked by a few bus lines, and it is especially convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most houses. Getting around by bicycle is at times difficult in this part of the municipality since the topography is not particularly flat, and there are few bike lanes. Westphal is also not very suitable for people who prefer to travel as pedestrians as most daily needs are impractical to meet without a car.
