The neighbourhood of Southdale can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

House buyers who appreciate living in an area that's walkable will enjoy the reasonably pedestrian-friendly nature of Southdale; many daily needs are easy to meet without a car. This part of Halifax is also rather amenable to bicycling. Southdale is not especially transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. However, driving is very often the best means of transportation in Southdale. It is easy to park, and many properties for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway.
