The neighbourhood of Coast Guard is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is straightforward in Coast Guard. It is convenient to find a place to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. On the other hand, the public transit system in Coast Guard is rather limited. Travelling by foot is not very popular in Coast Guard, even though many day-to-day needs can be carried out by walking.
