Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Prospect Bay is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Prospect Bay. It is especially convenient to park. This community is not very amenable to biking as there is a significant amount of slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is quite bad. It is also very inconvenient for people travelling on foot to move around in Prospect Bay since almost no day-to-day needs can be met without the use of a car.

Services

Primary schools are not abundant in Prospect Bay, and accordingly not always within a short distance, and there are no high schools. With respect to food, it is very rarely feasible for house buyers in Prospect Bay to travel to the closest grocery store as pedestrians.

Character

The character of Prospect Bay is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. Prospect Bay is very quiet, as the streets are very tranquil. Access to parks is rather challenging in the community since they aren't well-spread out. Despite that, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to visit.
