Prospect Bay

Prospect Bay is a community in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The car is very often the best means of transportation in Prospect Bay. It is very convenient to park. The bicycle is a quite poor mode of transportation in this part of Halifax as cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of slopes, and there are very few bike lanes. Many of the houses for sale in this community are located in places that are also not very convenient for walking because almost no day-to-day needs can be carried out on foot.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in Prospect Bay and thus they can be a very long walk away. Additionally, this part of the municipality does not contain any high schools. Regarding eating, it is very rarely an option for property owners in Prospect Bay to travel to the nearest supermarket by walking.

Character

Prospect Bay is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Public green spaces aren't well-situated, resulting in them being rather challenging to access from the majority of locations within the community.
