Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Mooseland is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Mooseland is very car friendly. It is very convenient to park. Cycling is challenging in this part of Halifax since the area is not particularly flat, and there are very few bike lanes. Mooseland is also not very conducive to people who get around by walking as almost no common errands can be run without needing a vehicle.

Mooseland does not have any high schools or primary schools. Concerning eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to purchase groceries.

Character

Mooseland offers a slower-paced atmosphere. Mooseland is excellent for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Parks aren't well-distributed, which makes them very hard to access from the majority of locations within the community.
